Tutoring Experience: I am in teaching for more than 30 years. Worked as the senior physics teacher (+2 level) for 20 years in an English medium missionary school in Kolkata. Taught the undergraduate (equivalent to BSc in India) in the US for several years. Got the 'best TA' award for 'Outstanding teaching' from the physics department in the US.
Tutoring Approach: I prefer to teach in a small group (5 or 6). I explain the topic using a lot of examples (where possible) and applications. Later make the students work out problems on that part of the theory. I believe, to learn physics students must have to be capable in solving the problems on their own. I help them in achieving that capability.
