Tutoring Experience: Currently, I provide tuitions to undergraduate students(history hons.) at my home. I have also taught high school students (humanities group) in the past. The classes which take place at my home are more like academic discussions and less about rote learning. I believe that the student should be given a free space to think and articulate whatever he or she feels is appropriate verbally as well as on paper. I frequently use my whiteboard to explain complex ideas. Small assignments and topic reviews are part of my ways of evaluating the student. The lectures are not rigidly time-bound and the students are given free reign to ask questions even after a 1 and 1/2 hour class.
